What to Wear
Ideal clothing is general athletic apparel, such as shorts and a t-shirt. Ideally nothing too loose fitting as to not to catch or tear.
During your trial week we will provide all necessary equipment for classes such as clean gloves, shin guards, and pads.
Hygiene
Make sure your finger and toe nails are well-groomed. If you have long hair, you’ll want to put it up in a ponytail or bun during class. You should also remove any piercings to prevent injuries.
Your First Class
After being scheduled in for your week, you’ll want to arrive a few minutes early to the class time. One of the instructors should be at the desk to meet with you and have you sign your waiver and answer any preliminary questions, as well as give you a tour of the gym. Once class starts, they’ll help you get paired with a partner to work with for the duration.
Class
All classes are 45-60 minutes in length, they will consist of a warm-up, technique period and end typically with a couple of light drills to practice the positions or moves of the day. The techniques of the week will always flow together and build off of each other towards the end of the week.
