Van Siakhel
Born in Myanmar, where combat sports are deeply rooted in tradition, Van developed a passion for Muay Thai (Lethwei in Burmese) at a young age. He began his formal Muay Thai journey in 2013 under Kru Ian, whose lineage traces back to Lumpinee stadium, World Muay Thai Council, Samrong Stadium and IKF world champion Matee Jedeepitak, whose attention to detail in traditional Muay Thai technique is highly sought after by true students of Muay Thai.
Through discipline, dedication, and natural talent, Van quickly rose through the ranks — earning his first national title with the Thai Boxing Association(TBA) in 2014. He is now a 2 time national champion with Class A TBA and C titles to his name. Van bring real world experience as a competitor with 21 fights, having competed in events sanctioned by TBA, IKF, and other respected promotions.
Van specializes in Muay Khao (knee fighter) — known for relentless pressure and strong clinch work — while maintaining a well-rounded Muay Thai foundation.
As a coach, Van is committed to developing not just skilled fighters, but disciplined, confident individuals. He believes Muay Thai builds character, respect, mental strength, and physical fitness — lessons that extend far beyond the gym.
When he’s not training, Van enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, hiking, biking, working on cars, and eating Sushi.
